I developed a case of Shingles and after the Shingles rash healed the pain did not go away and I developed Postherpetic Neuralgia (PHN). The pain was probably seven or eight often a nine and the sensitivity to touch was a nine or 10. It was hard to sleep and hard to function. I was in a dark place.
